You can stack multiple charms on the same base strand – i.e., the CLUSTER TECHNIQUE.
This piece can now be worn as an anklet, or used as a foundation for building a necklace.
To wear the base strand as an anklet, simply use the connect technique to attach strand in a circle around anklet. You can attach charms before putting the anklet on.
To turn this base strand into a necklace, use the CONNECT TECHNIQUE to attach one or more insert strands.
This is what the front of the necklace looks like.
The back of the necklace will still be open. Use the opening to put the necklace on, without disturbing the charms you already attached.
Use a hook-up style clasp to finish your necklace.
Use CONNECT to attach the clasp to both loose ends of the necklace.
